What is an Aluminum Sign?

Signgrafx aluminum signs are made of two pre-painted sheets of .008″ aluminum with a solid polyethylene core (for a total thickness of approximately 1/13 inches). They are weather resistant and work great for a variety of uses including property, retail, manufacturing, and real estate signage.

Options for your aluminum signs can include cut to shape signs, drilled holes for easy hanging, and single or double-sided printing.

Common sizes for aluminum signs include: 12″x12, 24″x6″, 18″x24″, 2’x2′, 4’x4′ and more

Aluminum Metal Sign Finish Options

SIgngrafx Aluminum signs come in a variety of colors and finishes. From full color to brushed aluminum and even reflective signage. 

Aluminum Signs are available in a wide range of metallic colors; we currently stock the following:

  • Reflective
  • Brushed Aluminium (silver)
  • White

Custom color choices are available call us to see if we can get the color you would like.

 

Graphic vs. Lettering

Common options for Aluminum signs are:

  • Complete Graphic Coverage – This means the sign will be covered entirely by a printed graphic such that none of the metal is showing. This is common in signs such as way finding signs or informational sings
  • Lettering – This is common for Logos and leave the majority of the metal visible with you logo or other shapes and text on top of section of the Metal. this is common for lobby signs and reflective signs.
Shape Options
  1. The standard shape option is to have your Aluminum sign tend to be a square/rectangle in the size selected. The most common sizes include: 24″x6″, 24″x18″, 18″x12″, 36″x18″, 2’x2′, 4’x4′
  2. The Custom shape option (also known as Contour Cut) allows you to have your sign be cut as any custom shape.
  3. Full sheet options as large as 5′ x 10′ 
Mounting Options

Aluminum signage can be hung, installed on a wall or placed in stands or frames. If optional drilled holes aren’t selected, holes can be easily drilled using a metal drill bit.

  • Screws with Washers
  • Frames
  • Standoffs
